What is health?

- being strong enough to recover from any stress, to be able to make decisions, to adapt to changes, to live a full life.

What is illness?

- being sick, feeling pain, being limited in some way and unable to work, play, or perform your duties.

What is the aim of homeopathic treatment?

- to be free of illness, and your symptoms, which used to arise, don't return and are not replaced by any new symptoms.

These are all questions that homeopaths consider during their training, and in treating patients.

I have been practising as a homeopath since 1992 and see patients in Carlisle, Cumbria, from my home near Alston, and until the end of May 2012, in Corbridge, Northumberland.

I give talks to groups and teach classes for using homeopathy at home.

Homeopathy looks at you individually and treats the whole person, including your mental, emotional and physical symptoms. Many people successfully treat themselves for acute illness but for long term recurring health problems it is best to seek the support of a qualified and registered homeopath.
